Cilynder Heads

DESCRIPTION

The cylinder head is the part that sits above the pistons in the combustion chamber and that accommodates organs such as valves, tappets, and very often the camshaft. In the cylinder head are located the intake and exhaust ducts, and the interspaces for the cooling fluid. The cylinder head, which is normally obtained in the same fusion of the crankcase, is fixed to the cylinder block through a series of screws. There is also a gasket to prevent leaking of gas or liquids between the two bonding surfaces.
